1. About These Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website at jrdatacomms.co.uk and any services provided by Jr Data Comms ("we", "us", "our"). By using the website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Website Content
The content on this website is provided for general information only. While we aim to keep the information up to date, we make no warranties or representations of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability or suitability of the information, services or related graphics on the website.
Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer. All quotations are prepared individually and confirmed in writing.
3. Quotations and Estimates
Any prices or estimates shown or discussed are indicative only and are based on the information available at the time. Final pricing is confirmed in a written quotation following a site survey or detailed discussion. Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
4. Services
We provide data cabling and related network installation services. The precise scope of any project is set out in the written quotation and any accompanying documentation. Work outside that scope may require a revised quotation.
Site conditions, existing infrastructure and third-party systems can affect the feasibility and cost of works. We reserve the right to adjust scope or pricing where conditions differ materially from those assumed in the quotation, and will discuss any such changes with you before proceeding.
5. Payment
Payment terms are confirmed in the quotation or accompanying paperwork. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts in line with applicable UK law.
6. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the site during agreed working hours.
- Ensure that any information you provide about the site, existing infrastructure or requirements is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- Obtain any permissions, consents or landlord approvals required before work begins.
- Ensure that any hazardous conditions or materials on site are disclosed in advance.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or economic loss, including loss of profit, revenue, data or business opportunity.
- Our total liability arising out of or in connection with any project shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for that project.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We hold public liability insurance. Details are available on request.
8. Warranty and Defects
We will carry out our work with reasonable skill and care. If a defect in our workmanship becomes apparent, please notify us promptly. Subject to inspection, we will rectify genuine workmanship defects within a reasonable period. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Cable manufacturer warranties are provided by the respective manufacturers and are subject to their own terms. Where manufacturer warranties may apply, we can discuss this with you as part of the quotation.
